Highly concentrated, solvent-free wood soap for the regular cleaning of oiled, waxed, soaped and lye-treated interior wood. Its mild, re-fatting formula removes dirt and grease without stripping the surface, helping preserve the wood's natural feel, appearance and protective oil finish.

When should I choose it?

Use Holzseife for routine damp cleaning when ordinary household cleaners would be too aggressive. The undiluted pH is approximately 7.5, making the formula gentle on both skin and wood. It cleans without building up a layer and supports the protective oil finish.

How to use it

1. Remove loose dust and grit by sweeping, vacuuming or dusting.

2. Shake the bottle well because natural ingredients can separate during storage.

3. Dilute approximately 5–10 ml, or one dosing cap, in 1 litre of lukewarm water.

4. Dip a cloth or mop into the solution and wring it out thoroughly. Wipe the surface only slightly damp and allow it to dry.

5. For stubborn marks, use the soap undiluted, allow a short contact time and then wipe with a damp cloth.

Good to know

Avoid puddles and standing moisture, especially around joints and seams, because excess water can make wood swell. Do not mix with aggressive household cleaners. Store cool and dry, protect from frost and keep the container closed. Minimum shelf life in the unopened original container is approximately 24 months. The 1 L bottle body is made from 100% recycled PET.
